Mellow Man Ace Presents: La Familia Volume 1 |

Mellow Man was looking for a way to pass his legacy, his knowledge, his skills on to the next generation of artists. He wanted to create a project to feature the hottest new talent he could find, with beats from today’s biggest producers and joined with some of raps biggest stars.
Using his myspace.com/mmapresents, Mellow was able to reach out to new artists across the globe and after much searching and auditioning, found 18 amazing new talents, coming from Inglewood to Israel, Brazil to Holland and everywhere in between. Mellow got with some of the game's strongest new producers and then got each new artist in the studio on the tracks. Joining each new artist is Mellow Man Ace, along with other rap legends like Sen Dog and B Real of Cypress Hill. Also Fatlip from The Pharcyde.
Thru myspace.com, Mellow was able to promote the project to prospective artists around the globe. He was able to communicate with them and exchange music. He was able to audition them virtually and in some cases exchanged files across the world, then combined the material in a local studio, never having met face to face. A project like this could only be done with a social networking platform like myspace.com. After the success of Volume 1, he continues with future volumes for later release in 2009.
